Economics focus: Exports to Mars | The Economist
This is a slightly different take on the global imbalance. For years I’ve wondered who the world is in debt to, as the global debt mounts up - it turns out it’s for these billions of dollars worth of export surplus. This are both views of the same thing - a broken economic system where all the markers are being gamed so much that the books don’t balance, and they don’t balance to the tune of 330 billion according to this article.
Either that, or we really are exporting to mars.

BBC News - Mobile phone brain cancer link rejected
As many times as research like this proves the point, or however many times I patiently explain the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation to people, there will still be idiots running round convinced that mobiles and wi-fi routers are killing us. I just wish these people would just give up modern technology, stop being such hypocrites and go off and attempt to live life without all these wonderful tools. It’s the hypocrisy I can;t stand. People who use the internet to complain about the internet should be put in stocks and have rotten fruit thrown at them.
